Fall Out Boy Concert

Monday Brianna and I went to the Honda Civic Tour, which was a concert at the E Center featuring Fall Out Boy. They put on a really good show. Our favorite part was when they played a cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat it". It was fun, but it was really hard to wake up early the

next morning to go to the temple.

One year!

Today is our one year anniversary!!!

Thank you for everything, Bri. I love you more than you'll ever know.

DENVER DAY #3: Downtown & Airport

Our last day in Denver we wandered around downtown and did some shopping. When we arrived at the airport we found out that our flight had been delayed 4 hours. We got some free blankets and sleeping mats and played Italian cards while we waited for our flight. Our flight didn't leave until after one o'clock in the morning. We got back to our place at around 4 A.M, just in time to get a couple hours of sleep before work.

DENVER DAY #2: Rockies Game

On our second full day in Denver we went to the Colorado Rockies game. It worked out perfectly that while we were there the Rockies were playing Brianna's favorite team: the Yankees. It was also fun because the Yankees were staying in the same hotel as us. The Rockies ended up winning the game 3-1. It was a very close game and very intense until the last out. The weather was a little hot, but as soon as the game started the sun went behind the stands to give us some shade.



















At Coors Field they have a line of purple seats that goes all the way around the stadium. The line is the exact elevation of one mile above sea level. Our seats were right below the line, but before the game started we got a picture taken of us sitting in the purple seats so that we could be part of the "Mile High" club.










Brianna and I have a goal to go to every major league baseball stadium. As we approach our one year anniversary we have already been to two. Here are the pictures of us at Coors Field from this year and also the picture of us in San Diego last year at Petco park.

DENVER DAY #1: Elitch Gardens

Our first full day in Denver we went to Elitch Gardens. Elitch Gardens is an amusement park that recently changed from being a Six Flags. They have lots of roller coasters and other types of fun rides.

The park also has a section like Lagoon that has a water park. We stayed in the rides part of the park the whole time, but we still managed to get wet... For example...

Here is Brianna sopping wet after absorbing the brunt of the wave. Needless to say we (or at least I) had a lot of fun.

P.S.- Shortly after these pictures were taken we went to the gift shop to get Brianna some new, dry clothes to wear. So in the end we were both happy.

Home...a Jungle!!

As much fun as Vegas was... it's good to be home. We missed the dogs so much. We picked them up. Poor Brady got a cut on his nose and Mia has already began her digging. Mostly they are just tired. We were worried about our new grass, but it did more than okay. It looks like a freaking jungle! Before we left I fertilized the grass to help it along and it may have helped a little too much. The average blade is seriously a solid twelve inches, I measured it. Our neighbors did a good job watering it. Now we have to figure out how to mow it...

Bellagio

We went to "O" at the Bellagio. It is a Cirque du Soleil production that is based on water. It has high-divers, trapeze acrobats, synchronized swimmers, fire dancers, contortionists, clowns and other performers that perform on, in, and above the water. It has an amazing stage/pool. I just can't figure out how it works, but it is awesome. It is very dream-like. Our favorite part was the Russian swing that the divers jumped and flew off of. The clowns threw a plastic tube out into the audience and Spencer caught it. We got to keep it as a souvenir.














We also watched the fountains. This is something very near and dear to our hearts because it is one of the places that we fell in love... They even played the same song as they did that night three years ago, Somewhere In Time. They also did a few of our other favorites including songs by Italian opera singers and Frank Sinatra.

On the Strip

We walked around the strip. We went to the M&M store and browsed the casinos and hotels.

Hanging By the Pool

At our hotel, we played in the pool a lot. Most people there were just laying out and being boring... But not us... We got a couple of tubes, tennis balls, and a beach ball and we made up a whole bunch of fun games. I think that people thought that we were immature, but we didn't care. A few others were jealous and wanted to play with us. One of the days, I did Spencer's hair into a mohawk with the sunscreen lotion. It was hot!

MGM

We went to see the lions at the MGM's lion preserve. They threw meat against the window and the lion ate it. If you look closely you can see the meat as the lion is licking it off the window.

King's Tournament

Our first night in Las Vegas we went to Excaliber and watched the King's Tournament. It's a dinner show with knights that joust and compete on horseback. We cheered on our "country's" knight and watched them sword fight. Go Hungaria!! We had to eat chicken and the rest of the food with our hands and drink soup out of the bowl. It was fun. Then we played our favorite game. It's like skee ball, and each point you make makes your horse move forward. The first horse across the finish line wins!! We brought home lots of stuffed animals to give our nephews.
