DENVER DAY #1: Elitch Gardens

Our first full day in Denver we went to Elitch Gardens. Elitch Gardens is an amusement park that recently changed from being a Six Flags. They have lots of roller coasters and other types of fun rides.

The park also has a section like Lagoon that has a water park. We stayed in the rides part of the park the whole time, but we still managed to get wet... For example...

Here is Brianna waiting innocently at the bottom of one of the water rides.

Here is Brianna about to be unknowingly engulfed by a tidal wave made by the ride (notice the boy in the red shirt preparing himself for the blow).

Here is Brianna sopping wet after absorbing the brunt of the wave. Needless to say we (or at least I) had a lot of fun.

P.S.- Shortly after these pictures were taken we went to the gift shop to get Brianna some new, dry clothes to wear. So in the end we were both happy.
